Cannes Film Festival’s Show-Stoppers
Posted May 17, 2011
The 2011 Cannes Film Festival’s Fashion didn’t dissapoint. The celebrities brought their Couture, and they came to play. The French Riviera will alway bring out the stunning Whites/Golds/Champagnes – my favorite this year being the fabulous down-to-there (Stephen Rolland) number worn by Cheryl Cole (above). And in a very close second was the stunning Salma Hayek in Gucci Couture (right).
But not to be out-done this year was the Beautiful Bold Blues, and the Not-So-Basic Blacks. The 3 Models (Bar Rafelli, Karolina Kurkova & Naomi Campbell) schooled us in how to kill-it with this Season’s hot new trend – Royal-Blue – while the ladies in black brought the Chic. Karolina Kurkova showed she wasn’t a one-hit-wonder (with her outta’ this world cut-out black dress that could make Lady Gaga blush). And Angelina Jolie opted for a gorgeous, traditional high-style gown, custom-fitted to within an inch of her life. For more Festival Show-Stopper head to StyleBistro.com.
??w you got me thinking… I’have always had at this length (for hair) and at the first time on my life I wanna change and I want to leave it long.(long hair) But now I saw this foto oh…and I don’t know…I’m very confused !!!
I absolutely understand. I’ve had long hair for a very looooong time. And while I’ll never cut-it, I do have my Green-with-Envy moments when I see a fab new (usually shoulder-length) hair trend. So while I get the urge – My Advice would be to Let-it-Grow. Enjoy the Versatility – and if you’re dying 4 a little wavy-bob look – Curl your hair and then clip it under in the back, pull-out pieces around your face – and create the ILLUSION of Short hair for an evening. That way you won’t wake up 2 tears when your hair is gone… thnx tj
