Anja Konstantinova’s Evocative-Layout Tangent Magazine

The evocative nature of a successful avant-garde layout, is less about the ability to be shocking or controversial, than relevant and cohesive.  I have found that I am most moved by the “Fashion Stories” that are layered with juxtaposed themes that seem to weave a pattern of passion/tragedy, that when seen together force the viewer to go outside of their barriers of comfort and face concepts or feelings that may be foreign to them.  This editorial/layout for Tangent Magazine is a beautiful piece of chaos, that combines the worn-down natural environment with the beautiful complexity of Anja Konstantinova, as she exposes her inner turmoil.  For more of this provocative editorial go to Fashionising.com.
