Barbara Palvin Gives Us a Tour of this Spring’s “Power-Neutral” Looks

While it’s true that the mere mention of Spring-Beauty brings to mind a rainbow of makeup options including, bold-shades, vibrant-colors, brilliant-hues and neon-brights – there is another world of Seasonal-Colors that are just as dynamic – Spring’s “Power-Neutrals.”  Demonstrating 6 unique looks with neutral bronze-tones, Barbara Palvin shows up for the April issue of Vogue Germany giving us serious “Face.”  With an eye-base consisting of neutrals, highlighted by a spectrum of metallic shades in taupe/brown/bronze and liner in soft-black – these eyes manage to be dramatic without any hard lines.  And following suit, the face is left sheer, with a soft dusting of neutral powder (enhanced with a subtle hint of enlightener down the center of the face). The lips have been done in either a combination of nude/baby-pink, or a soft-coral/berry-bold – leaving them full & plump – without appearing overly glossy.  The entire look takes a matte approach to application, with the result being more “blown-out,” creating the illusion of softer edges and cleaner lines, while still managing to Pop.  This is a Beauty All-In-One – makeup that is sophisticated but still comes off  fresh/trendy – Genius!  So mix it up this season – from “Neon-Chic” to “Power-Neutrals” – Spring 2012 has it all.
