Guinevere Van Seenus, Meghan Collison & Bette Franke in ‘Wie Im Kino’ Daniele & Iango, Vogue Germany

Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi play with a little decadent distortion in ‘Wie Im Kino’ for the February issue of Vogue Germany.  Using a variety of creative effects, innovative artists, Daniele & Iango, deliver an ode to cinema spectacular in this fashionable tribute to the art of film.  The arc of the avant-garde knows no bounds when Victorian-Era elegance meets Jazz-Age arrogance for a trip to the stylish 70’s.  Gathering an eclectic mix of influences, (stylist) Patti Wilson takes us on a trend traveling trip through the decades with Guinevere Van Seenus, Meghan Collison & Bette Franke, in one of the most ambitious epoch-crossing editorials we’ve seen.  Lost in Wonderland, these dreamy images remind me of Alice Through the Looking Glass.  Where else could an updated Roaring-20’s Bob mix with a 70’s-inspired Afro, but the fairy-tale pages of fashion. Maybe in the end this spectacular story can be best summed up by the great words of Lewis Carroll, “Ever drifting down the stream- Lingering in the golden gleam- Life, what is it but a dream?”  Source (visual optimism).
