Mia Wasikowska in ‘Fearless Youth’ by Craig McDean for AnOther Magazine Spring/Summer 2014. Director, Masha Vasyukova, takes us into the extreme in this arresting film set inside a visual monstrosity. A plethora of pink, (Stylist) Olivier Rizzo lets this story seep into our soul, with an exquisite mix of high fashion by Commes des Garçons. The pallor of possibility comes to light with metallic-silver that surrounds her eyes with pure perfection. An arousing array of avant-garde play, as these works come together, we can appreciate her talent in a new found way. I’m drawn into the spectacle and dared to react. Richard Ayoade takes us to the surreal side of life, in this adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s brilliant novella, “The Double.” While, “Tracks,” follows Mia through the exotic Australian outback, and “Stoker” gives us a rigid tale of love and other thoughtful undertakings. As I stood at the edge of tomorrow, I realized that to appreciate this kind of talent is to open yourself up to the possibility of wonder. New Images via – (fashioncopious).
