Georgia May Jagger by Ellen von Unwerth for Vogue Russia, January 2015

Georgia May Jagger gets her groove on in this cheeky cover-story shot by Ellen von Unwerth for Vogue Russia. Stylist, Melanie Huynh, invades the suburbs by showing us the fierce side of flower power fashion. Turn mad for mod, as you forgo the mom jeans in favor of a little sex(y) in the suburbs. The eyes have it, as (Makeup Artist) Cathyanne MacAllister gets divine with lines, by introducing an extreme way to pump up the orbital area. Fat lashes fill in with a blanket of blue-violet that crosses the lids with a cast of captivating color. By bringing together seemingly opposing forces, one might feel like the mythic, Sisyphus, rolling a huge rock up a hill (only to have it return). However, upon closer inspection you will see that true art writes its own rules. Hairstylist, Seb Bascle, keeps the tone tight with a 60’s pouf that pops off the page. Jagger’s beauty beguiles as the white petals weep as they fall down the cheek.
