Thais Custodio goes mad for fetish mod in ‘A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night’ by Vanessa Diskin for OK Mag #7. The imagination explodes with simple pictures that capture the art of exotica. Taking us back in time, four walls are transfixed as we are tinged with a vintage vibe. Locked in a room of retro-revival, Thais teases us with temptation while showing just enough skin. Pop-Erotica never looked so cool with avant-garde fashion blended with fetish inspired garb. Stylists, Diogo Brasiliano & Isabella Estevez, embraces the subculture of 60’s with knitwear made to feel as good as it looks. From a fur bolero & tight knit dress to floral lace on a see-thru skirt, these designs are devoted to the decade of decadence. Wearing masques of madness one-of-a-kind pieces scream to be seen. Hyper-modern makeup made to mystify. Beauty beguiles, as Renato Mardonis melds the pluck of pop with the fire of fetish. Under gobs of black mascara, eyes erupt luring lashes to explode. With bleached-out brows & neo-soft lips, the look leaves us somewhere between innocent and evocative. Topped with a golden dew, the sharp defining shapes of this cool cut is an ode to the era. Art Director, Guilherme Lombardi, reminds us of a time when creativity was reflected in the culture of American pop art. Still honoring the it-girls of the 60’s – from Edie Sedgwick & Jean Shrimpton to Mary Quant & Twiggy – this generation showed us how to evoke true strength. Images via We are so Droeë.
