Karlie Kloss gives a send-off to the Summer in ‘Karlie Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ shot by Tom Munro for Glamour US, September 2015. This fearsome feline prowls around like a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Not often called on to cover American editorials, I found myself inspired by this cheeky piece. Rich pastels celebrate the sun while pink, yellow, orange, blue & green look toward a sartorial shift. Stylist, Natasha Royt, brings the heat with body-hugging looks that leave little to the imagination. Diving in a pool fully dressed Kloss floods the scene with Fall’s most exciting fashions. Sequins, stripes, fabrics & designs secure the season with a wild array of patterns & play. Primary colors pop off the page with Annelise Michelson, Balmain, Céline, Christopher Kane, Marco de Vincenzo, Nina Ricci and Saint Laurent for Hedi Slimane. Fresh-faced beauty never looked so fun as, (Makeup Artist) Francelle shows us that pretty is as pretty does. Pink lids are set off by black liner, lightly rimmed around the edge of the eyes. The art of the healthy glow shows itself in the form of neo-nude. What used to be thought of as pure, has made way for the face of the future. Rose lips lure us in with a shade made in thinking girls pink. Hairstylist, Harry Josh, puts forth flowing locks on the magazine’s covers, while pulling the dew up for a loose bun layout. A girl that’s interested in the tech-world is already unique, but a model obsessed with coding, now that’s a story. Beauty & Brains… a killer combination! Images via: We are so Droeë.
