Sasha Luss finds freedom on top of the world in “On Nameless Hights” shot by Alexi Lubomirski for Vogue Russia, December 2015. The breath of freedom fills the lungs as the art of inspiration comes undone. A girl on a girder garners attention but it’s the women without fear who catches the eye. An exquisite take on the fire of the female spirit. Sasha teeters on the tip of one of Manhattan’s girders, as she imagines a world where anything is possible. Blake Kuchta, Kenny Braasch & Ellis McCreadie bring brawn into the mix with masculine energy that plays in perfect harmony against the backdrop. Showing us two sides of the same coin, the names may stay strictly high fashion but the designs are touched with a taste of femme fatale. Stylist, Olga Dunina, dresses this doll in long, gorgeous gowns, with silhouettes echoed in delicious flavors of danger. While this creative play comes with a hard edge, elegance always outweighs the extreme. Red chiffon catches the wind like a butterfly in flight, as the blossom blooms on this blushing dress, expanding its wings in artful excess. Makeup becomes, as Tyron Machhausen lets skin reflect off the sky with exquisite beauty bound on high. An ethereal glow floods over her face, as the warm sun shines down. Colors so hypnotic they takes your breath away, with cheek bones that are anything but soft. Neutral tones are taken up a notch with revved up shades that simmer in the morning light. Angelic features bask in the glory of sensual salvation generated from just-bitten lips. The city shows itself in shapes below as the art of tomorrow is reflected in alabaster skin. Hairstylist, Ben Skervin, lets blonde lox flow free as otherworldly beauty succumbs to a synergistic glow. Sasha sits on top of the world… as the skin and the sky blend together allowing the universal forces of freedom to collide.
