This YSL campaign captures the iconoclastic decadence of the 70’s and illustrates the era so completely it makes me want to walk down the stairs, join the soiree and devour the debauchery. 

By now my obsession for the 70’s must be more than obvious –  I am moved by all the beautifully flawed images that come directly from the decade, as well as, the images influenced & inspired by it.

A great work doesn’t just pay homage, it wakes up a new generation and asks them to adore a time gone by and create something amazing with their new eyes and unique perception.  It’s everything that era stood for – the creative consciousness.  It is only through interaction that true genius can emerge.

Perfection doesn’t exist – all great work has to be excavated, examined and exercised.  This image inspired me and I hope my philosophical words will work to move you.  Let yourself be moved to action – it’s the 1st step to discovery!!!
