Chanel Goes Mad-Max Rogue For Fall 2011 Runway Show

With a kind of Modern Post-Apocalyptic feel, Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2011 RTW Collection showed at Paris Fashion Week.  Not one to shy away from dark-glamour, Karl Lagerfeld brought his edgy Mad Max world to life.  I totally dug it!!  With just the tiniest infusion of muted color – this was a collection dedicated to the Black/Grey/White.  And in that extreme dedication I found the divine devotion to texture, shade and shine a dream of diversity and an opulant offering of endless design.  There was absolutely no absence of excitment due to the uniquely limited palette – infact…My attention to his details was heightened.
