Lady Gaga’s Fierce & Fiery Bazaar Cover

Go2 “Celebrity Watch” 4 more Gaga

Lady Gaga graces the cover of May 2011 Harper’s Bazaar with new fiery-red tresses’ and a determined outlook.  In her interview with Derek Blasberg she opens up about everything from prosthetic horns to her interest in living somewhere between “Reality & Fantasy”.  The interview doesn’t expose any real hidden sides to Gaga, but I thought it had moments of introspection and showed that she is a woman highly aware of what is going on around her, and is fully in charge of where she is going in the future.

When you read about her move from NYC to LA – then back again, you get the feeling this isn’t someone who is letting her “Handler’s” dictate her every move.  She has perspective and serious drive, a combination that clearly means, as she puts it, “I’m not going anywhere”.  She seems truly connected to her “Little Monsters”, assuring us that she doesn’t promote self-harming and is confident that her fans are inspired not in-sighted by her music.

The photo-layout for this Cover is definitely up to Gaga standards, incorporating just enough of that dark-edge to keep us thinking.  While she isn’t a pre-packed Pop Star, Lady Gaga is making sure she hits all the right marks and knows she has to continually out-do herself.  It is the burden she bares walking in her 10″ shoes.
