Layer Sheers for a Luscious Light Look

One of my fave trends for Spring/Summer is the Re-Vamped layered look.  As Anne Valerie Hash proves with her Spring 2011 Collection – layering doesn’t have to mean heavy.  This French designer shows us the Now way to approach “Multi-Level Dressing” is to see each piece as part of a Ensemble-Mosaic.  Each item on it’s own may be under-whelming, but when the Fashion-Puzzle is complete, we have a stylish ready-2-wear outfit, Street-Chic Approved.

The reason I love this trend is that is has the potential to be universally flattering.  Choose the right combo – and all those pesky little flaws are hidden under fab-flowing layers.  Also it has a youthful energy.  Something about confidently piling clothes on top of each other says young.  So go-4-it this Season, Pile on the fun…
