Frieda Pinto’s Beauty, Burden or Privilege?

Freida Pinto Interview MagazineWe see examples of extraordinary beauty everyday.  The “Power of Beauty” is a remarkable thing, and one who’s force has been felt through-out theFreida Pinto by Mert & Marcus centuries.  There are as many versions of beautiful, as the mind can imagine.  But like great art, every piece isn’t the Mona Lisa, even great works are triumphed by the presence of those touched by other-worldly magnificence.

Throughout history there are examples of women who’s beauty can bring the most notorious of men to their knees, influencing the masses, and starting wars.  It’s a rare quality, indescribable yet undeniable.  When witnessed, can feel as if it’s calling to be worshiped. As exampled by these stunning images of Frieda Pinto, by Mert & Marcus for August’s Interview.

And if possessed, how heavy is the crown?  Is this Beauty the ultimate Burden?  How can one go about living their life, when their mere existence is the inspiration of Masters.  The Walking-Muse, a creature born into slavery, or eternal privilege.  We might be surprised by the answer.

When I think of modern examples of such beings – Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly, Penelope Cruz – I’m hard-pressed not to consider Frieda Pinto as belonging to this sacred-club.  Through no fault of her own, this may be her truth.  Her beauty is not comprehensible by mere mortals, a kind of perfection that defy’s logic – and screams for explanation.
