Georgia May Jagger, The New Smokey-Eyed Queen

Georgia May Jagger is my new “Smokey-Eye” Poster Girl.  I am Completely Obsessed With the girl.  Her pedigree aside, she’s the youngest daughter of Mick Jagger, there’s something utterly fashion-forward about her look.  The perfection of her symmetrical features/pillowy lips – juxtaposed with her rebellious gapped teeth, make for a stunning combination (if not a bit dangerous).  Following in the footsteps of the fabulous Lara Stone, Georgia May is poised to make a serious impression on the industry.

Her smokey-eye look is a luscious one, managing to mix with a berry gloss and fresh pink-cheeks and still look modern and new.  Although this definitely wouldn’t go into the “Natural” Category, I like seeing a smokey eye mixed with a bit of color.  For the Non-Model approach to this look, I would find a great dusky brown shadow to top off a fat black-noir pencil lined upper/lower lid, and take it up to the crease (like pictured below).  Then continue with a sheer berry gloss – spend some money on this product (best choices are Too-Faced, Buxom, Tarte, Nars, Chanel), a great gloss can keep your makeup Trendy not Trampy.  And finally, add a little baby-pink/peach blush, on the sides of cheeks (think 70’s), forget the apples of the cheeks – this is disco-chic blush.   Remember it’s all about making the look work for you.  Images from Madame Figaro July 2011 (via
