Minka Kelly Taking on 70’s Icons Charlie’s-Angels

Nothing’s gonna’ stop this Angel from taking flight.  One of “Charlie’s” newest angels, and Cosmo’s October Cover-Girl, Minka Kelly doesn’t have time to sit around eating ice-cream depressed over her recent break-up with Derek Jeter.  It’s time for her to get back to her gig as one of the hottest babes in prime-time.  She got her “Babe” stripes on the cult-fave “Friday Night Lights”, and with her Hot Girl-Cool Chick status – she’s top of the pack on the Maxim/GQ hottie lists.

While we haven’t really gotten to see her stretch her thespian muscles – and I dare say the New Charlie’s Angels probably won’t be providing that opportunity – I do think this girl might have something special.  So that’s why I’m kinda’ rooting for her to find her way to the big screen – or atleast a quality show on USA or HBO.   I’m gonna try not to pre-judge, but I think it’s almost sac-religious to try and do a remake of the television version of Charlie’s Angels.  When I think of images of Farrah Fawcet in those fab high-waisted flared jeans, with her wickedly feathered hair bouncing in the sun – I get an image that’s forever tattooed on my brain – the perfect 70’s Chic icon.  Sometimes it’s best not to mess with perfection.
