Arizona Muse/Ruby Aldridge Go “Gothic-Chic” for Vogue Italia

Follow Arizona Muse and Ruby Aldridge through this darkly-romantic editorial by Craig McDean for Vogue Italia’s September Issue.  Enjoy Fashion-Fantastica with McDean’s signature form, where other-worldy beauty reigns supreme.  Highlighting the edgy-style of Fall’s Gothic-Chic trends against the “Dark forces of Nature”, provides and ideal balance between these two worlds.  With Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, and Givenchy all pitching-in, “Gothic” gets upgraded from “Street-Status”, to “Runway-Ready.”  I find I’m utterly attracted to this styling, after endless images of Florals/Prints coming down the Spring 2012 Runways, and excited to start mixing/matching cool vintage “Street-Chic” with some edgy Fall Looks, Like Leather/F aux-Fur.  This layout also has some cool ideas I plan to rip-off – I’m loving the embroidered day-coat, and the fabulously 40’s Peter-Pan collar.  Adding these elements of tradition to an edgy look, completely heightens the cool factor, and can take a look from extreme to wearable.  So forget what you thought you knew about “Gothic”, it’s a new era of Chic-Madness.Follow Arizona Muse and Ruby Aldridge through this darkly-romantic editorial by Craig McDean for Vogue Italia’s September Issue (images via fashioneditorials.com).
