This fashion-fantasy spread captures Lindsey Wixson in this dizzying Doll Museum Come to Life.  And like a kid in a “Couture Candy Store”, all I want to do is Play with my Toys.  With inspiration from the “Jazz-Era”, this phenomenal editorial-story “Cruise Controller” highlights stellar pieces from the 2012 resort/cruise collections, featured in the November issue of W Korea.  In the spirited imagination of Phil Poynter, these surreal images call to mind the eye-popping world of the Japanese “Harajuku-Girls.”  I find these sassy pieces by Chanel, Prabal Garung, and Narciso Rodriguez a tantalizing mix of hidden tricks and delicious treats.  A colorful combination of big balloon-sleeves, bell-bottom dream-pants, and magic peplum-skirts topped with dazzling accessories including, leather finger-gloves, peak-a-boo exploding cuffs, and neon knee-hi boots, it all adds up to a fiesta of fashion-fun.  Add to this the mix of 60’s-Twiggyeque “Doll-Lashes”, and the entire layout is a dream-come-true.
