Bette Franke Gets Chic on the Beach in Editorial “Rush Hour”

After months of languishing in all the frocks/furs that Fall has to offer I wait – with baited breath – for that 1 super-edgy High-Fashion bathing suit layout that will just blow-me-away.  By the time Winter has arrived I’m dying to see a little “style-skin.”  Decked out in decadence, Bette Franke is going for edge in Benny Horne’s “Rush Hour.”  With black swim-wear, framed by touches of silver/gold/red, the December Issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia is a serious Style-Slam.  We can always count of a few fabulous avant-garde swim-editorials this time of year, as half of the globe has just entered their Summer months.  With it’s lack of subtlety and severe nature, these images are like a cold drink of water on a scorching-hot day.  With looks including Donna Karan, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang – and accessories from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes’, and ManiaMania – it makes for a beautiful mix of fashion-chaos.  So my mantra for modern swim & sports attire is…F*&K the Floral look – I want to be this girl.
