2012 Is Here And It’s Time to Let Our Hair Down…

2012 is here and it’s time to let down our hair.  With all the vintage inspired looks this season, including 60’s updated beehive, 50’s modern-bouffant and 40’s-style retro-wave – we’ve been on a pretty strict diet of “structured hair.”  So as the calender turns over, it’s a perfect opportunity to add a few “Wild-Waves” to the beauty lineup.  In this layout the luscious, loose curls of Magdalena Frackowiak’s beautiful full golden-mane, is captured by Ben Hassett for the January issue of Vogue Germany.  Styled by Sam McKnight, a modern day Rapunzel lets down her Hair, for the world to see (and drool over).  With daring looks from Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen and David Koma our “fashion-tale” takes on a cool, avant-garde vibe.  Images via FashionGoneRogue.com.
