Chanel Couture Spring 2012

In the dizzying world of High-Fashion Haute Couture, Karl Lagerfeld could be called something of a “Fashion King.”  With a week where the runway becomes a legitimate stage, The House of Chanel always finds a way to shine, even in the midst of the insane & spectacular “side-shows” happening all around them.  While some might wish for more of an “Avant-Garde” presentation, I’m satisfied with the level of consistency and find the elaborate in perfectly coiffed/draped/tailored clothing sent down the Catwalk.  And this year nothing sent down any Runway beat the awe-inspiring Chanel “Puffy-Sleeve” and the crystal embellished tights that looked like stars crawling down the models legs.  This show was a dynamic success and a true inspiration.
