Chadwick Bell Fall 2012
Posted Feb 11, 2012
Chadwick Bell describes his Fall 2012 Runway Show as being “perfectly-imperfect.” Calling his beauty inspiration “Frankenstein-Chic,” the models looked like a dark version of a “Stepford-Wife.” With dangerous hair and lips to match, the styling just like the clothing, isn’t meant to blend into a crowd. These are show-stopping pieces, just this side of extreme, Bell takes his designs right to the edge. With great lines these silhouettes are straight from 40’s era glam, while the unique fabric/texture combos have a distinctly modern-edge. This is what I call, “Second-Look” Fashion at it finest. Designs that are deceiving at first glance, but upon closer examination you fall in love, piece by piece.
