Cat-Eye Glasses & Hair-Up-To-There, Jac Jagaciak Gets Trendy in Vogue Japan
Posted Mar 03, 2012
Giving us “cutting-edge” fashion, Vogue Japan’s April Issue features Jac Jagaciak making the city streets her own “Spring Runway.” Showing off some of this season’s coolest trends, Hans Feurer’s images use the backdrop of the gritty-city to highlight all the “architectural-splendor” of Chanel, Balenciaga, Christopher Kane and Louis Vuitton. This fanciful juxtaposition allows us to really see amazing details in these designs. With hair-up-to-there and a variety of colorful eye makeup to match, this “concrete-catwalk” delivers one look after another of chic little ensembles & amazing accessories to match. From frilly 50’s house-dresses, to bubble-skirts & swing-coats, it’s clear that the vintage looks is here to stay this Spring, along with some very chic updates. One of the hottest ticket-items this year is the reinvention of the Cat-Eye Sunglasses. This new version feels so fashion-forward it has me foaming at mouth to get my hands on a pair. And while I’m loving the little A-line skirts & dresses, there is nothing like the mix/match layered-look to really get your style juices flowing. With baby-blazers and V-neck vests, over redesigned oxford-shirts and “boyfriend-ties” you can create an androgynous “masterpiece” with fabulous layers of leggings/skirts or flat-front trousers. With every editorial we see that the options are endless, and we only have to imagine it for it to be this Spring.
