Karo Mrozkova in ‘Siren Call’ by Jean Francois Campos for Marie Claire US

Channeling a 1940’s movie-maiden Karo Mrozkova answers the ‘Siren Call’ in the February issue of Marie Claire US.  Jean Francois Campos gives a nod to the nostalgic glamour of the Golden Age of Hollywood in this retro-modern editorial, featuring an eclectic mix of vintage inspired pieces.  Known as the screen sirens of their time, the 40’s femme fatales are some of the strongest (and stylish) women in film history.  Carrying a unique caché in the pantheon of history, stars like Rita Hayworth, Bette Davis and Lauren Bacall will forever be considered among fashion’s most influential iconic figures. Borrowing from the bold beauty of that period, hairstylist Keith Carpenter reinterprets one of the eras most infamous looks with his version of the ‘Victory Roll.’  As cool as the original, you’ll get a Big-Bang out of this coiffed sensation.  Mixed with complimenting makeup by, Kabuki, this stunning layout is sure to be a standout of the season.
