Chantal Stafford-Abbott takes a psychedelic trip to the 60’s in ‘Pop’ by Neil Mota for the March issue of Elle Canada. Making his own form of modern Pop-Art, Mota dares to disorient our senses with this experimental editorial inspired by the drug-induced effects of an LSD enhanced hallucination. A swirling blend of colors & shapes, (Art-Director) Denis Desro’s surrealistically styled set emulates the crazy kaleidoscope of chaos often experienced in this kind of altered state of consciousness. Getting down and getting groovy, (stylist) Sara Bruneau gathers a graphic mix of dizzying designs that emphasize this season’s obsession with all things geometric. Eclectically electrifying, this crazy collaboration of stripes, circles trapezoids and squares, all meld together to create a mind-bending mix of optical illusions.
