Marie Piovesan celebrates the season of the dance in ‘Worpina’ by Collier Schorr for the S/S 2013 issue of Pop Magazine.  An artful editorial dedicated to fashion’s undying devotion to shape and structure.  Here, we see the origins of linear inspiration bared out in the body of motion. For where else, can the natural form of the female figure be appreciate more, than in the beautiful, balletic movements of a dancer?  A place where the universal elements of the body, mind & spirit can connect, and where many of our modern designers find their motivational muse.  An ode to the art of transformation, today’s trends are often styles translated from the linear aspects of the human body.  A vision of hope and renewal, I see this dynamic layout as an expression of rebirth.  As we move toward Spring we are reminded of new beginnings and the never-ending power of the creative life-force.  Source (tarsha’s glossy newstand).
