Beauty goes big in ‘Blown Away’ starring Suvi Koponen by Sølve Sundsbø for V Magazine #84 Fall Prevew 2013.  Giving us a taste of next season’s stunning new shapes, Sundsbø proves that size really does matter, in this pumped-up piece that plays with the laws of physics. Colossal works of coiffed couture so dynamic they need their own zip code. Didier Malige does the impossible by making his haute-hair designs look airy & effortless, with gravity defying styles that waft in like the wings of an angel. Daring to match the drama of Didier, (stylist) Beat Bolliger whips us into a fashion frenzy with a bevy of shapely silhouettes he’s christened, “chic-pocalypse.” Redefining the idea of big, Fall’s voluminous styles apply the same stream-line philosophy of form and function, allowing the elements of the architecture to explode off the page in artful abundance. And with the masterful makeup of Yadim to top things off this truly is a creative collaboration of epic proportion.
