Elsa Sylvan is part of nature’s art in this enchanting editorial by Elle Muliarchyk for the Fall/Winter issue of Gravure Magazine. Dancing under the midnight sky Sylvan is an ethereal dream giving off a sprightly spirit with an evocative edge. A woodland fairy nymph, this captivating creature only comes out after dark, to beguile us with her beauty and fill us with her joy. Often described as a mythical creature, the woodland fairies hide amongst the fabric of the forest – only to be seen by those who believe in their magic. Relying on the raw beauty of Rodarte’s radiant Fall collection, (stylists) Priscilla Polley & Caitlyn Leary call on the spirits of the land to inspire and delight with a stunning mix of powerful prints that are sure to bring the breathtaking background to life. Glowing under the iridescent moon (makeup artist) Chiho Omae creates dark, intense eyes that reflect off the pale skin, while (hair stylist) Adam Markarian’s long, flowing locks ride on the wings of the wind like an angel in flight. Shadows showing themselves in bold layers of black and white, Muliarchyk’s powerful lighting creates a kind of camouflaged effect, with Sylvan’s stunning silhouette artfully displayed among the lavish leaves of the luscious forest.
