While Georgia May Jagger might be the offspring of an iconic explosion this bombshell shows she can stand on her own on the November 2013 (reprint) cover of Elle Russia. Georgia May Jagger and Jerry Hall are a duo made in “DNA Fashion” heaven in these 70’s inspired shots by Max Abadian. Taking advantage of the reprint, I’m thrilled to see this coverstory being recirculated from the original August 2013 issue of Elle Brazil, as it’s one of the most inspired mother/daughter model mixes I’ve seen. A lineage defined by love, these powerful pictures capture the essence of the exquisite familial bond without casting the shadow of comparison. Through the artful eye of Abadian we are able to enjoy the obvious genetic connection while simultaneously celebrating the unique qualities of each individual beauty. Wearing a cool mix of sleek looks styled by Rita Lazarotti the pair portrays an edgy resemblance without taking the twin theme too far. When you come from combing forces of a fashion icon and musical genius it might be tough to find your own way, but as always, Jagger is able to embrace her roots while still maintaining an air of independence. Showing that their best modeling is that of the “role-modeling” variety, these powerful women prove that when a relationship is built on support both parties will benefit from the growth – a perfect example for The Girl Power Issue.
