Marikka Juhler & Jacob Morton channel the spirit of Jim Morrison in ‘Strange Days Improv’ by Gregory Harris for Intermission Magazine #8. Inspired by The Doors iconic album of the same name, this edgy interpretation captures the circus side-show atmosphere of the original cover. Trying on a variety of styles, the couple moves through a series of unscripted stills slipping ever-deeper into an altered state of consciousness. Applying the creative tools of improvisation (Stylist) Tony Irvine uses the artistic arrangement of accessories to express the shifting state of emotions. With billowy bows, jester hats & pilgrim boots, the mish-mash of modern looks act as a mirror reflecting the models inner monologue. High Style showing itself in a series of unfiltered fashion moments, the dark, dramatic costuming is used to effectively express the dynamic action of interplay that exists between two people. Paying homage to the psychedelic 60’s Harris uses visual effects to create a sense of suspended spontaneity.  Beauty evolves with theatrical makeup by Sil Bruinsma.
