Lost and Lonely
a girl out of time
when will they find
a soul stirring rhythm,
pray to be seen
hide in plain site
touch the darkness
in the absence of light,
wake up to yearning
fall asleep to ignore
call out in anguish
when aching for more,
speak in secrets
never but hide
from that which fills
the hole deep inside,
words will move you
out of the pain
of a life that’s stuck
on a slow moving train,
torn up & tattered
as you storm
through the fight
of an ever lost girl
on a long, lonely night.
