Jamie Bochert lets the power of perception persist in ‘Parallax’ shot by Willy Vanderperre for Garage Magazine, Fall/Winter 2014. I Dare to Dream… I dare to fly… under the beautiful, blackened sky. A soliloquy of madness, I strip down and call your name. I scream for hope but no one hears my silent calls to shame. Stylist, Charlotte Stockdale, follows the lineage that’s runs directly from haute-couture to humanity. Fashion erupts as the cries to christen these avant-garde works are heard. The brooding beauty of Bochert breaks through, allowing (Makeup Artist) Lynsey Alexander to feature the face in a soliloquy of sadness. Walking works of art, (Hairstylist) Anthony Turner uses her long, flowing locks as an appendage to the majesty of mayhem. Pieces so exquisite, I look not to what I might wear but what I could come to collect.
I Dare to Dream…
I dare to fly
under the beautiful,
blackened sky.
A soliloquy of madness
I strip down
and call your name,
I scream for hope
but no-one hears
my silent calls to shame.
I close my eyes
and cast away
the aching thoughts of you,
for that which sinks
inside my head
is all but nothing new.
The manic phase of madness
the shallow sounds of breath,
I take a sip
to quell my thirst
before I face the depth.
A sound I’ve heard forever,
a song I’ll always sing,
to find the artful purpose
of another persons dream.
