Malgosia Bela plays the part in a decadent game of avant-garde art by Paola Kudacki For Vamp #2, F/W 2014. Behind the pain of blue plastic lives the agony of truth. Lost in a world of wonder, Bela rides the winds of change, as the sounds of silence bear down. Embracing the essence of existential art, (Stylist) Francesco Sourigues breaks through the brick-haus of haute-couture. Each shot sinks into symbolism by inserting itself into the mayhem of madness. The power of poetry dares to unfold with an evocative look at the architecture of beauty. Makeup Artist, Benjamin Puckey, uses his unwavering eye to master the fundamental aspects of facial appreciation. Much like, ‘art appreciation’ this concept captures features as a focal point for exploration. Hiding in plain sight, (Hairstylist) Kevin Ryan catches on by casting a tight bun to camouflage the chaos of creativity. Succumbing to the subliminal, this story shows us that the source of – Static – is something that lives beyond the blue.
INVADING YOUR DREAMS
I choke on blue plastic
swallow my pride
ride colored ponies
with long, silken strides,
I run will no rhythm
have burdens to bear,
drink with white dragons
who fight for their share,
I’ll use it for good
isn’t that what they say,
to get out of damnation
on a cold winter’s day,
so fight that which scares you
stand up to your fears,
let go of the mind-games
and settle your tears,
head straight for the source
of the slow moving pain –
strap on your soul shoes
and do it again…
