The Pain of Living…
the darkness of decadence
the anger of light
as I wait for the end
of this ever long night,
the prism of panic
the silence of tears
the mania of searching
for all the lost years,
I wake up to yearning
fall asleep to ignore
call out in deep anguish
when there isn’t much more,
I seek for the laughter
that held me through pain,
a slow moving dream
on a fast moving train,
the passage of peace
doesn’t mean
that we’ll drown
in a lake filled with love
when there’s no-one around.
