I breath in beauty

exhale the storm

leave my anxiety

at the front door.

I search for forgiveness

when all is but gone

I ache for a meaning

to right all my wrongs.

I twist and I turn

this way and that,

look inside and out

for a solid state trap.

Something that holds me

through all the pain

will never abate

or leave me insane.

A figure of kindness

for the long running storm,

a place to forget

that this is the norm.
