Hea Deville traverses the terrain of sexuality in ‘Bondage’ shot by Nicolas Guérin for Creem Mag! By embracing the art of empowerment this story allows us to see the truth. Tie me up/Tie me down, will always be enticing, but to discover something new is all together inspiring. To deny ourselves the opportunity to explore the exotic side of inspiration will invite conceptual constraint. However, to show us a (sexually) strong woman, is a picture that’s worth a thousand words. Stylist, Sheri Chiu, delivers a poetic piece of fired up fashion with dark looks that devour the body. Slick fabric clings to the skin with liquid lingerie that falls over the figure. Beauty beckons in black/white, as (Makeup Artist) Ophélie Secq lets the face speak with lined lids and a ravenous mouth. The lure of the lips will lead you in as the ache of the eyes will keep you. A story told with a single look, each shot proves that true purity is found on the inside. Hairstylist, Jonathan Dadoun, lets waves flow free with a blanket of black curls falling down the back. By opening up the pathway of resistance, Bérénice V, uses the the Ropes of revival to reel us in. Art invites us to explore another side with fire up images that celebrate the female experience. The picture of the femme fatale is met with Hea wearing intimate wears, topped with a riding whip/leather mask. A decadent diva in black duds is a powerful illusion, and one that may well serve you. However, behind all beauty lies a teller of truths. And, while we can all get caught in the excess of the extreme, what we are missing is the art of the in-between. Guérin & Chiu invite us to find ourselves by letting go of face value and allowing true growth.
