Anna Ewers, Mica Arganaraz & Julia van Os seeks the art of ‘Sauvage Innocence’ by Inez & Vinoodh for Vogue Paris, August 2015. Finishing the season right, these fierce females delve into the dark side of Summer. Editor-n-Chief, Emmanuelle Alt, brings the heat with fashions from Anthony Vaccarello, Blumarine, Bottega Veneta, Chanel, Dior, Dsquared2, Isabel Marant, Lanvin, Maison Margiela, Miu Miu, Moschino, Mugler, Phillip Plein, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, Valentino & Versace. Decadence blends as creativity captures the savage side of innocence. Casual meets couture with haute styles that hide in plain sight. Dark designs are ripe with ebony flavor as avant-garde details ache to evolve. Dramatic elements unveil themselves as each image is portrayed like a still from a film roll. Redefining the art of observation, (Makeup Artist) Val Garland exposes us to a new level of cosmetic creation. The nuance of new beauty has arrived with a screaming red mark flashed over the face. Gone is the separation of style as we stand at the edge of a new day. Naked skin invites a sense of innocence as black liner ravages the lids. Subtlety is seen with hints of extreme as modernity moves from angelic to moody. Hairstylist, Odile Gilbert, celebrates a new season with a compilation of coiffed coiffure. An ode to vintage excellence, Alt writes, “We’re adopting. ‘A Season of Freedom,’ as our summer mantra, with a wardrobe punctuated with slick black, that already heralds (the coming flavors of) Fall.”
