Frederikke Sofie and Lucan Gillespie play with perennials by Sean+Seng for Dazed Digital, F/W 2015. Visual patches play out in purple passages as metaphors of madness make their mark. To break the flow of writings pro is the act of Purple Prose. One prophetic writer described, “the filigreed lacework that blossomed around the ruptured skin – as being hopelessly lost in Purpleville“. Overtly contributing to the unmitigated use of ornate verbiage, Purple Patches are left to hacks, whose approach to words are on the attack. A storied celebration marks the art of nature, as flowers are empowered with bluish-purple foliage that fills in the season. Stylist, Robbie Spencer, invites fashion to at once blend into the background, while dark fabric takes a united front. Unique trends blend in contrast while chic styles combust in chaos. Patent leather coats fall full-length as leather gloves ride up the arms, reveling under lace packed with playful bows. Soft vibes fill the visage as (Makeup Artist) Gemma Smith-Edhouse uses subtle colors to take over. Blushing beauty bathes in the light letting angelic features fly high. The skin gives in, as one shot shows a close-up of a bright red & black ladybug crawling over the lid. These amazing creatures take over, as they run a race over the front of the face.
