Niki Trefilova & Lisa Verberght embrace the art of the ace bandage in “Wrap It Up” by Justin Borbely for Models.com. Like crayons in a box, colorful wraps pass over skin covering what’s within. Swaths of mummification mimic makeup as Carolina Dali brings the art of beauty bandages to life. Green orbs form a perfect circle as color extends like wings taking flight. Blue bleeds around the eyes with one red rectangle sitting on the lower lid in poetic harmony. A trio of triumph reflects the brilliant bands as triple tones play resounding notes. Yellow bursts over the brows rising up Niki’s forehead in a fateful march, as scarlet forms a faux masque and turquoise hits below in titillating response. Indigo flashes on either side of the eyes as canary sings a melodic tone up the middle. Surrounded in a sea of silky pink, violet bursts across the landscape in an odyssey of bright light. A future bomb explodes, as vermilion races along Lisa’s lower lids and sky-blue flies on high just under the brows. Multi-colored lines are drawn in diametric design, as (Creative Director) Brylie Fowler proves that features are best seen in the primary extreme. Hairstylist, Felix Fischer, fuses this piece by crafting coiffure to match the pigment power.
