Selena Gomez shows us that she is “Hotter Than Ever” by Steven Klein for W Magazine, March 2016. Walking the road of re-invention Klein redefines the idea of fusion. Patti Wilson combines a dynamic blend of vin-mod (vintage/modern) for forward fashion unlike we’ve seen. Tacky turns fabulous with Wilson’s undeniable talent to transform. Utilizing her exquisite ability to blend, everyday items become works of art. High style hits the beach with crazy creations by Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Topshop, Norma Kamali & Chloé. Extreme intentions invite collaboration while eclectic designs create a sense of spirit. The best of both worlds collide as this mish-mash of marvelous takes us into another realm. Makeup sizzles under the sun as Kabuki brings us avant-garde beauty at the beach. Under-eyes are the thing, as cool colors melt together with contemporary placement falling below. A fuchia shadow strikes the lower lid blending out in carefree form, as bronzed powder hits the face giving a deep glow to tips of cheeks. The mouth is brushed with a just-bitten gloss delivering a hidden flavor to the lips. Hairstylist, Shon, lets loose waves cascade down her shoulders, bouncing under a variety of cowboy hats and pseudo crowns. Semi-sonic shots seize the day as Selena teases us with a taste of Summer fun to come. Filtered imagery is exposed against a unique backdrop by Set Designer; David White.
