Marjan Jonkman & Fernanda Ly are camouflaged in ‘Spotz‘ by Steven Klein for Love No.16, SS 2016. Lost in a dream world… skin turns shades of neon rage as all that’s left is to turn the page, and there we’ll find a hidden tomb where inside is beauty waiting to bloom. Panos Yiapanis gives a tour de force of fashion with dynamic styles unlike we’ve seen. The art of avant-garde ignites with a collection that expresses the craft of haute couture. Pictures show like scenes from a play with Absolute Vintage, Alexander Wang, Cenci, Christian Dior, Coach, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Radio Days, Raf Simons, Theory, Versace and Vetements. Designs are transformed as each image ejects a sense of sheer wonder. A place where all that’s somber is infused with the colors of love. Art takes a different route as Kabuki creates painted faces that blend into the backdrop. Beauty becomes something new as we find ourselves mixed in land of twisted lunacy. Maquillage explodes across the skin as all things merry find their way in. Similar markings make each girl the same, while unique elements allows them to stand out. Stars and circles salute with shiny shades that cover the entire body. Hairstylist, Akki, comes in with a fresh take on the concept of coiffure, as tiaras sit atop the head like an extension of self. Fernanda pops with blue spots falling down her dew and a Crystal Mask by Lara Jensen covering her face. Inside these walls things go crazy like being locked inside Willy Wonka’s Factory.
